Omnitrax Switching Service locomotive labelled as a GP7 sits in North Yard on April 12, 2003. Obviously ex-SP, it looks from the handrail stanchions and lack of louvers under the cab that it should be a mid-production GP9, but not late production because it still has 4 radiator fans (though a creative collection of [ex-F3?] high and low fans.)
How do they prevent paint from flaking off bent handrails?
Also note the "Radio Shack style" magnetic radio antenna sitting on the cab roof, and original control stand in the cab.
